A “birthday party” for Jarrett Krosoczka in honor of his 10th picture book in ten years!

A superhero Lunch Lady, punk-rock farm animals, and dancing elephants are just a few of the fun and hilarious characters in author/illustrator Jarrett Krosoczka’s extensive repertoire. Come celebrate his 10th picture book in ten years with a Jarrett K event like never before! We’ll be featuring Ollie the Purple Elephant, his new Lunch Lady comic, and more! Cupcakes, drawing demos, some great stories and toe-tapping tunes -- fun activities for the whole family and all ages! Don’t miss out!

ABOUT THE BOOK
Ollie is a purple elephant who is lost and has no place to call home.  Until Shelby and Peter find him in the park—and invite him to live with them.  Soon Ollie is a regular part of the family.  He especially loves the dance parties the McLaughlins have after dinner. But Mr. Puddlebottom, the downstairs neighbor, most certainly does not love Ollie.  And neither does the McLaughlins' cat, Ginger.  Ollie has taken her spot on the couch at night.  When the conspirators hatch a plan to get rid of Ollie, the purple elephant walks right into their trap—and onto a circus cart. Will he ever be reunited with his family?!
